HIGHER SECONDARY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Sibsagar College, Joysagar offers Higher Secondary (Class XI and Clas XII) Courses under AHSEC (Assam Higher Secondary Education Council) and the syllabus prescribed by AHSEC is followed for the Course. Examinations are conducted as per schedule and guidelines of AHSEC. Both Arts and Science streams are available in the College. Students could opt for subjects as given below:

Course Structure : 1+1 year = 2 years
Compulsory Subject : English
Modern Indian Language : Assamese or Alternative English
Elective Subjects available for HS Science Stream (any three) : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Geology, Statistics, Computer Science
Elective Subjects available for HS Arts Stream (any three) : Economics, Education, History, Logic & Philosophy, Political Science
Total seats in HS Science : 50
Total seats in HS Arts : 50

Selection Criteria: On the basis of Merit

Admission Process: Online.

Admission fee: Based on current COVID-19 pendamic condition, Govt, of Assam introduced Fee Waiver Scheme through which FREE ADMISSION will be given.

 Hostel facility: available with limited seats
